Nathan woke up happy today. He went on a bike ride first thing today, then whizzed through his school work and declared "This is just a great day!" I'm not sure what made it so great. It might be that he's finally feeling better. His sinus infection and asthma flare up really took a toll. I can always tell when he's feeling bad. His entire attitude is sour.
I actually called a neighbor to set up some playtime for our kids this afternoon. That's kind of big for me. I'm usually too worried about being a bother to make that kind of phone call. I'm so very glad that I did today. Our neighbor's children are very special friends to my kids. They had a great time together. I'm pleased for them, but my time spent with an understanding adult outweighs their good time! I truly needed to connect with a friend today.Labels: Juice Fast
