I'm back! For a few minutes anyway. I'm almost 12 weeks into this pregnancy, and the computer screen doesn't seem to mess up my equilibrium quite as much now. Hopefully the rest of this queasy stuff will pass soon! With Nathan, I only had 2 good days between the nausea and the indigestion. Surely this one will be different.

We had a good Christmas season. It wasn't quite as stressful as usual. I'm not sure why, but our relatives seemed to be on better behavior.

We took a few days after Christmas and took a trip to Gatlinburg. Nathan amazed us - he traveled SO well, and we actually enjoyed our restaurant experiences.

We didn't realize that we would be sharing Gatlinburg with 10,000 teen agers. They were there for a Christian Youth Retreat. Fun fun. We didn't sleep much, but that didn't bother Nathan. Teen age boys are his favorite. He would wake up in the morning and say "I need to see the teen agers! Let's go!" When we would pack Nathan's toys up for the night and insist that he get ready for bed, he would run to the door and open it as far as the latch would allow. Then he would yell "Teen agers!! Teen agers!! Come to my room!" They were too busy to pay any attention.

We rode the trolley, and we went to the Aquarium. But the dinosaur was the most exciting part of our vacation. Above the Ripley's theater, they have a T-Rex that roars and lunges forward every few minutes. We spent a good bit of time sitting on the bench in front of that theater. Nathan would say "It's gettin' ready to roar!! It needs to roar." Then he would roar back.

I am glad to be home, though. We finally made Hurt Paw Kitty's vet appointment. He goes in next week for the works. Then he gets to recover in the guest room.
