Elizabeth's musings

It seems like every time I think about posting, I end up sitting here thinking "what was that funny thing Nathan told me today?" I actually remember one something today.

We were driving home from the Y today, and we were stopped at a red light. Nathan looks out to his right and says, "HEY! It's Fish's Big Boy! He's a big, big, big, big boy!" We usually see the other Frisch's on 18, and he was just amazed to find another Big Boy.

The other night, Nathan had a hard time with supper. He was HUNGRY, but he didn't want the ravioli that we had fixed. We finally settled on a quesadilla and a pickle. But he wanted fries. When I explained that we have tater tots but no fries, he offered to compromise on a frozen fry. "We have no fries" was just an unacceptable answer. I offered a frozen tater tot, but that wasn't the same. Luckily, he spied the bag of frozen fruit and decided that would do. Since his frozen peach was cold and his quesadilla was hot, he wanted a warm pickle. So I microwaved his pickle, and all was finally well.
