Today is our anniversary! Six years! Sometimes our wedding seems like just yesterday. Sometimes when I look at the pictures I wonder "Who were those people?" I laugh at how little we really knew about each other when we got married.
We took our honeymoon in Hawaii. It was a great trip! When I'm feeling stressed, I escape in my memories of Hawaii. But I laugh when I think of our second night there. We had spent all day on a cheesy tour of the Waiameia Canyon. I started running a fever during the bumpy offroad part of the tour. By the time we got back to the hotel, I had one of those raging fever headaches. I just wanted to sleep! Randy kept waking me up every 20 minutes or so to tell me that I wouldn't be able to sleep later if I slept too long then. Hah!! He laughs at that story now that he knows my ability to sleep anywhere and anytime.
I'm off to close my eyes for a few minutes before we go OUT! Nathan is going to play with his buddy Aaron for a few hours while Randy and I enjoy our anniversary. Aaron does have chicken pox, but oh well! They've been playing together this whole week, so Nathan has already been exposed. We'll know in about 10 days.
