This is just about our lives - four cats, two kids, a musician and a preacher.

So much for feeling better and being well rested. I'm in day 3 of a cold now. It's just one of those irritating sniffly things that totally disrupts sleep. So between that and Nathan being up most of last night, I feel like a big old soggy noodle today.

Anything that disrupts sleep WILL happen on a Saturday night in our house. Randy's day starts so early on Sundays, and he gets really testy if anything disturbs the little sleep that he does get. So at 4:15 AM, Nathan stood up in his crib and said "I want to go!" I had to ask "Go where?" "To the Mommydaddy bed," he says. This was after being up with him for two hours already, and I was just desperate to lie down. So off to the Mommydaddy bed we went. Randy was not pleased. Nathan did eventually sleep - with he head pressed against my shoulder and his feet wedged up against Randy's back.

I took a little snooze on the recliner after church while Nathan climbed on me. At one point, he climbed on top of me. When I opened one eye, he said "Mommy tired." Yup. Then after I got up he asked "Mommy sleep again?" Hopefully.
