Noire is driving me nuts. She's sitting here bellowing! I've brushed her, offered her wet food, fluffed the dry food, told her that she IS the kitty princess. I think she wants me to go lie down with her. Great - here comes Diego. He likes to lie across my arm while I'm typing.
Nathan likes to feed the cats. He stands in the middle of the kitchen and screams for Hobbes (who is scared of loud noises and small children). Then he takes a plate of wet food to the nearest cat, asking "Ah hunny?" (Are you hungry?). Usually, Noire is the closest cat. She sleeps on the chair, so he puts the plate right in front of her nose. She'll usually humor him and wake up to eat. Diego only ever eats on his own terms.
We went to the Y this morning. Too wet for the playground. Nathan likes to play in the nursery, and surely all of that fitness equipment will help me lose these last 12 pounds. I've lost 60 so far, and I made Lifetime Membership with Weight Watchers. But these last 12 are really bugging me. I feel like I'm starting all over again.
Toddler snacks are killing me here! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are WAY too tastie. And those cheese cracker snack paks. . .Raisin points add up really fast, too. But it's mainly the peanut butter. WW was much easier before Nathan ate real food. I miss those 10 extra nursing points, too. Even though Nathan still nurses 4 - 7 times every day, I can tell that my body doesn't need all of those extra points anymore. It was truly amazing how much I could eat and still lose weight when Nathan was little! I guess it's time for the next baby.
