Elizabeth's musings

I don't know if anyone wants to read about life's disappointing moments. But it's all I can write about right now. I was just "unhired" from my favorite teaching job of the year. The woman who is running the Louisville Suzuki Institute couldn't find any advanced viola students. (Never mind that I was originally hired to teach viola/violin students in the regular program.) We had our week all planned, and I had turned down several playing jobs that would have covered that car payment.

But here's that silver lining (or about a square yard of it!) - now I get to go to Bowling Green with Randy for his Annual Conference. I think our motel has a pool, and we can visit with cousin Clint and his wife Kim. And my wonderful friend Kerry is talking about setting up Master Classes so I can teach her students!! And faced with being really broke, I finally called and placed an ad for students in a Parent/Child magazine.
