This is just about our lives - four cats, two kids, a musician and a preacher.

I knew it had been a long, long time since I had posted. Somehow a year has slipped by. Lila turns 3 today! Still independent, funnier by the day.
I feel like I might be coming out of the fog. We're in a happier, friendlier place now. I have hope for a happier future.
Now if I could just find the box with the cats' Advantage. I've already found two ticks in the house. They were both unattached, just looking for juicy flesh. We already found one on Diego, and I haven't had the courage to check Hurt Paw Kitty. That will be tomorrow's task.
Here's the kid funny for the day: Randy took Nathan and Lila to the ballpark last night. The parents that we met here said that several kids had dropped out of T-Ball before the end of the session, and there might be room on the teams. The Dad that shared that information had Nathan in mind, but Lila was desperate for a turn. "I need a team! I NEED a team!!" So tonight they both got to try some T-Ball.
Lila picked a pink batter's helmet and a pink bat, and she was good to go! She gave the ball a good whack, and it actually made it a few feet out towards first base. She was all set to fetch it and try again, but a swarm of boys from the other team descended on her ball. The boys scrambled for the ball, and Lila was going to fast to change direction. So she knocked them all over like bowling pins and kept on running towards first base.
Randy said that he and the other parents were just doubled over laughing! Nathan had a few shining moments, too. He had an opportunity to run to second, but he couldn't find it. He was running around in the outfield trying to find it!Labels: Juice Fast
